Plex app not in the swedish app store?

Hi,
I’ve been using plex for years on many devices as a plex pass user and I just love it!
I bought a xbox one but cannot find the plex app in the xbox one app store.
Why can’t I find it?
Isn’t it available in the swedish market yet?

This is for the devs to answer …

… BUT, you can just change your region to US/UK/DE or anything else and download the app and then switch back to your Swedish region and use the app without any problems.

I tried to change region (US) but still no plex app in the store. Can someone from the devs give me an estimate when the plex app is available in the swedish market?

ok, then you just do not see it :wink:

Did you try searching for PLEX ? (most right tab on the dashboard and “Search”)

Or go to the app store to newest (or basically any category for browsing) and browse along until the Plex app shows up.

As far as I’m aware the Plex app should be available in the Swedish app store. Have you tried searching or browsing through the store as @mike4001 suggested?

My Swedish Xbox One had no issues installing the app. So that shouldn’t be the issue.

I’m an experienced user with 15+ years as a system developer but I’m seriously starting to doubt my knowledge since I cannot simply see the PLEX app in the store :wink:

Could be something with my xbox profile?

More input when switching between regions (SE/US):
Swedish store: 15 apps totally
US store: 46 apps totally
No plex app, I’ve both browsed and searched but no avail…

Any clues?

Ok, tried the UK store and now I found the plex app!
In the UK store I even found Skype and Youtube app :slight_smile:

But this cannot be the proper way to find apps. Must some other explenation than changing regions…
But I’m happy for now and thanks again for trying to help me!

When even Skype and Youtube are missing you should contact Microsoft because there is something wrong there … :slight_smile:
