I’m new to Plex and bought the lifetime membership. However, I am unable to install the Plex Application on my Ipad as it is locked to IOS 12.5. I know that there was a Plex App for this version but because I’m new and didn’t have it installed prior to the version being updated to the latest (14.5), I cannot install it via the app store.
Is there anyway around this as this is my main device to watch while away from home and this is 90% of the time. I’m not looking forward to having to spend $700 to buy a new Ipad just to utilize Plex.
I am able to find the Plex APP in the APP Store that Apple provides. However when I click download it states I must have at least 14.5 IOS. I cannot due this since my Ipad is older (first gen Apple Air) and is stuck at 12.5 IOS.
From my research the Apple Store doesn’t provide older compatible variants unless it was previously installed at some point.
