Plex Arcade - need to move appdata\local\Plex Media Server to different drive

I normally run Plex Media Server from my WD NAS, so for Arcade I had to install it on a Windows PC. I need to move ‘c:...\appdata\local\Plex Media Server’ to a different drive, likely internal but when I move it, it just gets recreated on the C drive. Do I need to edit or add a registry entry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER...\Plex Media Server\ ? The folder is getting very large. Thanks.

By default, Plex server stores all its own data on the system drive, in the AppData path of the Windows user. You might want to change that location, if your system drive is a small SSD or you are simply having capacity issues. Moving Plex data to a dedicated drive also makes it easier to retain your Plex server data when changing machines or re-installing Windows from scratch.
