I have used plex on a macmini for years as a my video server but have never felt it was quite ready to make the switch to handle my Music collection.
That said, I have been super impressed with the amazing progress over the years and attention to detail and user experience of the interface especially considering the wide range of devices supported. For this reason, I purchased a Plexpass to show support for all that you guys have done and continue to do. Kudos!
I am in the process of creating my music libraries that consist of mp3s, flac, aiff files primarily but would love to see a couple of features added that would really add to the music experience.

A graphic equalizer - Any form of EQ would be very helpful, due to the wide range of recordings as well as devices (ie speakers) that folks use to listen to their collections. From headphones, to small bluetooth speakers to full audiophile quality loudspeakers, the EQ is more to tailor the sound for the listening environment at hand, IMO

Another visual cue that would be helpful during playback is to be able to see the file type and/or bit rate attributes. This may already be available somewhere but Ive not found it yet.
ie…128kbps, 320kbps etc… MP3 files or 16bit,24bit etc…for lossless files
it would be nice to know when listening to files or doing comparison tests between mp3 and other formats for those of us musigeeks who are into that kinda thing.
It might also help when trying to sort through a collection consisting of both flac and mp3 files of the same song? Does the flac or mp3 get prioritized? Do they show as duplicates? How doe one know which to choose when selecting for playback on a home system vs mobile? If the bit rate info was displayed, it would help in making those kind of decisions.
I have no idea how hard it would be to integrate these features but plex for music has come so far, especially with the plex pass features, that these are just a couple of ommissions that keep it from being tops, IMO…
Thanks for a great media manger…Love it more and more with ever release.
