Plex black screen after video plays on all streaming devices

Very recently over the past two to three weeks after a movie plays and gets to the end instead of going back to the menu it just stays on a black screen. I have to completely close out of the app and reopen it.

This happens on every streaming device that I watch my library on. These include PlayStation 4 console. Xbox One console. 4K LG TV with the webOS. A Samsung 4K television with Tizen os. My Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra running Android 13. Every device after a movie is done playing it’s just a black screen.

Interestingly enough if it’s a TV show and there are more episodes it goes on to the next episode like it should don’t have this problem. It’s isolated to playing a single video file of any type transcoded or direct stream.

Plex server is on a Windows PC rig with Windows 11 and AMD ryzen 7 and RTX 4080 all solid state drives 32 GB of RAM. There have been no hardware changes on any of these devices for close to a year not longer.

It doesn’t make any sense. But it’s a huge pain in the ass to have to back out and reopen the program.
