Plex blob database

Server Version#: 1.40.0.7998
Player Version#:

I recently had a failure with some drives and lost about 200TB of media.
What is left is about 40TB of media.

I cleaned up the bundles, optimized the database and run @ChuckPa’s optimizing scripts. The library database slimmed from 800MB to about 190MB, however the blob database size hasn’t changed - it’s still 2.3GB.

I am using the intro and credits detection features - so I expect to have data there, but I would have expected the blob database size to decrease too!

Any suggestions/ideas?

I might be wrong, but I seem to remember the blog database is only pruned during scheduled tasks once a month or something like that.

Once a week.
