Plex blog posts are not exciting and crush my excitement of the platform to no end
I didn’t even realize they had a blog…went and found it and yeah, its useless, unless you’re really into their streaming content. Even then, it’s just links to movies entering and leaving their hosted content.
You’re definitely not. I used to love reading their blog. I miss Barkley.
It’s even more useless for international users (I’m Canadian) because not every movies “leaving in June” are currently available anyway…

But for real though, if that’s the banger update, sad times ahead for personal media enthusiasts to jumpship to jellyfin which is at the moment quite sub-optimal but the only other realistic option. Plexamp is my homie but Plex is clearly making a stance and it appears to be for it’s beyond cr@p streaming service, and they’re in the business of doubling-down against any community involvement.
