I am unable to install the Plex app from Google Play on my SONY XR-55X93J TV. The app downloads, starts to install and then pops up a message that the app cannot be installed.
Is there any solution to install the app on the TV?

Not sure what is wrong with your setup. I have it running flawlessly on 950G and 90J. Basic stuff I would try: Remove the app, reboot TV and also clear cache for internal storage. Be sure you have adequate storage space etc.
Looks like that TV uses Sony’s new XR processor. I don’t know what ARM architecture that uses but it’s likely different enough that our APK is not compiled properly for it.
To be clear, you downloaded the app from the Google Play Store that comes with the TV. It’s not sideloaded, right?
Yes, I install the app directly from Google Play.
Everything is fine now, the application was successfully installed. Thank you all.

I don’t even know myself. Repeated the installation attempt many times over and over until I got it right
