Wait a minute… Doesn’t this fall under “replacing” or moving to a new drive.
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201154537-Move-Media-Content-to-a-New-Location

Basically, you will have to first copy the movies to the new drive, add path to Plex, let plex update with the additional path included, then you can remove the old path from your computer and from plex.

This is EXACTLY what i did
All Movies are there … old paths etc … and as soon as Plex starts to crawl Metadata, this stupid, clueless, absolute idiotic, Program fu#ks my Data and overrides anything.

Like i said, the Option to change anything manually needs to be removed, because the idiots programming it can’t ensure it is locked … i have wasted countless Hours for this fu#ked up ■■■■

If it is matched to an agent it will show something like “com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt123456?lang=en”. If it’s unmatched it will say “local://xxxx”.

Could it also say something like “com.plexapp.agents.none://BlahBlahBlah?lang=xn

Post the XML before and after the change. I’m sure over if the scenarios I mentioned earlier us occurring.

And watch the language. Keep this friendly or this discussion will stop like a ton of bricks.
