The latest update for Plex web interface in Chrome has left my interface so tiny as to be unreadable.
I have a silly high resolution 3200x1800 on my xps13 laptop which I’d rather not change. Plex used to detect this and produce a reasonably sized interface but after I updated manually a few days ago the interface is super tiny. I tried to go through the settings (though it is a little hard because of the interface size) but I didn’t see anything that would fix this.
There is a ‘Slider’, upper right to the left of the ‘Rubik’s Cube’, but that adjusts the image size only so you’ll still need a magnifying glass to read the text I suppose.
You could install ‘Stylish’ on your Chrome. It will allow you to customize just the Plexweb UI. I did that when it turned out I hated their ‘new and improved’ background a while back, but it is a bit of a work-around to something that was once automatic.
Seems strange though. Are you running the latest version of Chrome? Could be worth checking.
Yeah at least I can see the content. I do have the latest version of Chrome and there was another update to Plex but that didn’t help unfortunately. I’ll try Stylish if I have to (thanks) but I’m hoping for a internal solution first.
No need for that.
Hold down the CTRL key and press on the +
key until you’re satisfied with the font size.
Just like any other web page.
CTRL
+-
to reduce the zoom factor and CTRL
+0
to reset it to default, btw.
Thanks slightly embarrassing but that is all it took.
