I was hoping to start researching how to build a Plex client, I have a CarPC and was hoping to integrate Plex but I can't find any information on a client API. Am I blind or is this not public information?

This is only the very basic functionality for local media, no transcoding. Everything else (access to channels, transcoding, ...) is more complicated and needs a lot of handshaking. I am looking into it as well.

About the public/non-public question I am not quite sure either... but then, there is a lot of information available, so digging can't be completely forbidden, can it?
