Plex client on Amazon Fire Stick can't access movies from server running on MacOS

Server Version#: 1.22.1.4228
Player Version#: TBD

Where are the server logs located?

I’ve got a Plex server running on MacOS Big Sur. I have 70 DVDs that I’ve ripped
up on that server. I’m able to access the movies that I’ve ripped from an ipad as well as from my Apple TV (both inside of the same house where the server is).

I’m unable to see my movies from an Amazon Fire Stick (also in the same house), although the fire stick can see the server ( I see the server name in the Fire Stick amazon Plex client).

Would someone point me to some information that would help make the server accessible from the fire stick?

Thanks

You need an adapter

Try resetting the Home Screen on the FireStick.

You should then be prompted to pick a default server and then see a list of libraries you can pin to the home screen.

I can see my server from the firestick, but there is an ! next to ther server name. I can see all of the stupid free movie from Plex, for, the fire stick, but not the ones I’ve added to the server.

What adapter are you referring to???

Resetting the fire stick home scree,n or resetting the Plex Home Screen?

It looks like the firestick client is a total POS. After deleting all entries form the Home Screen, they still appear there.

Haha I was just joking. What Ford’s saying is that when you reset the way your home screen is arranged, Plex will also allow you to select your server.
You can also click on More on the left menu and you should find your server there
