I've noticed that China web sites has setup something similar where they use scripts to translate the china web sites like PPTV, PPS, Youku to allow Apple TV to access. Since using these China web sites will introduce security risk, I would like to extend the PlexConnect Script to allow us to access these as well. Anybody knows or can get this done ?

There are existing threads on how to run it externally, all of them should come with a notice that this will make your setup *very* insecure and open to attack. (having it internal or external to China won't make any difference to this - it is the type of traffic which you are passing between yourself, and something external)

What are the "traffic type" that I'm passing that would make this "very" insecure ?

search, there is no point repeating existing information, here is something to get you started.

Just read it, nothing relevant to my situation. I assume it means you didn't understand the question either. All the same , Thanks.

if all you want is a plex channel (aka you want to capture content for consumption within Plex), then your question should be posted in the channel forum and you'll need to include details of the site so someone has some idea of the source composition. If all you want to do is isolate yourself from a chinese website, then all you want is a proxy server of some description. If you want something to do a DNS/server redirect for something external (which is the only real reason you would want PlexConnect over the above), then it is totally relevant as it will need to run "somewhere else" in order to give your network isolation for the "evil" Chinese websites you want to use.
