Plex Conversion Disk Area and Playlists

Is there a way to get Plex to use another disk drive other than the “C” drive to do it’s conversions when syncing?

I am having a slight problem syncing movie playlists and the amount of disk space available to do this. I am receiving a message on the sync tab for the machine I am syncing to stating “The disk is almost full (less than 10GB remaining)”. The message relates to the disk space available on the “C” drive for the machine running PMS.

Temporary fix is to sync one movie at a time. Time consuming and very restrictive for multiple user environments…

I have plenty of space available on other local drive(s) but can see no way of telling Plex to use a drive other than the drive PMS is installed on.

Temporary work space should be left up to the user to decide where to place those files. I can understand why there may be a need to restrict network drives but why local drives?

If this can not be done then this query changes to a feature request.

If you have less than 10 GB free, I’d rather think about moving all of Plex’s app data away from C:
If you have another local drive, which is formatted with the NTFS filesystem, you can move it like so:
