My Plex after years of running fine has decided to start playing up. Pick any episode locks up after a few seconds then nothing works. Did an uninstall then reinstall. Same issue. Then did a complete delete including all data and registry key. So back to a virgin state and did the as new install. Got it to load the Plex player but if I pin the Plex player to the taskbar and try to open it it tries to reinstall the exe. If I go to the start menu and load it from the plex icon it works but the pinned taskbar one still tries to install the program again.Plus as before no show will start beyond a couple of seconds. It’s a small mini pc running windows 10 and Plex has been running fine on it for over two years. I’m back to using VLC at the moment. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
