Complete Plex meltdown after fresh install of W10

Server Version#:
Player Version#:

Hello.
I’ve just reinstalled W10 current version, with all drivers updated and apps installed, and everything was fantastic, until I reinstalled the latest version of Plex.

I’ve used Plex for years, but have never seen anything like this.
I can’t even login to my Plex account, without being directed to a blank page with the Plex logo, where it just hangs forever.
Every time I try to uninstall and reinstall, it goes again to the blank page.

I’m beginning to think this might be a Windows problem, as Plex couldn’t have become so crazy in a matter of days, since I last used it on my previous-wiped PC.

Is this just me, or have things gone south very quickly?

It looks like it’s Windows, as previous and tried versions wont play ball…

Damn!

I found this … Windows seemed to be unstable (i.e. the laptop - kept crashing when installing and just switching off and I could sort out the shares with my NAS box). I have now switched to Linux. it’s nearly there just (hopefully) a last bit of configuration.

Whenever I try to login to the main Plex homepage, it displays a little X then freezes - WTF?

Do you have a pop-up blocker enabled? If so, try disabling it or whitelisting plex.tv and/or the IP address at which you’re accessing your server.

IT WORKED!

You’ve made me so unbelievably happy tonight.
I can’t thank you enough…

Kindest regards.
