I’m using the plex dash app on iOS to monitor my server
I was just wondering what the A and V letter are meaning while looking at the live ongoing reading sessions ?
“A” means that audio trans-coding is taking place and “V” means video. When you see “A” and “V” reported on the same entry its means both audio and video trans-coding is happening.

It’s one of those things that makes sense once you know, but is a bad non intuitive design. They look like up and down arrows. They could have just as easily say audio and video.
100% agree. Its so obvious when you know and then you almost feel dumb for asking but I remember a time asking the same question myself on the forum
Its the same with those green arrows. You’ll get a gold star from teacher if you know what they mean and why sometimes there are two, one and even red in colour.
