Plex destop player; audio goes out of sync only using desktop app player

Audio on the desktop play seems to wander our of lipsync after a few minutes.
Doesnt when using browser player or RasPlex
Long term user - films were encoded years ago with no issues until the player
please advise.
No error so unlikely logs will report anything useful.

I notice this quite often. Usually pausing and resuming playback brings the audio and video temporarily back in sync.

I have seen this on the Roku client as well. It’s annoying. I just wait until the next app update comes out and hope it fixes it. lol

This happens to me too, Windows 10 1.3.1.916-1cb2c34d, intermittently.

Anecdotally, seems to be related to the performance issues? When performance is so poor that video stutters significantly, I can be certain that audio will desync.
