I have to say that I understand a bit of the push-back on not being able to cleanly opt-out of this new feature. I, on the other had see it as a very nice addition. I currently use another online service to track content that is New, Coming, Leaving and what I would like to watch.
It would be very helpful if you would be able to do the following with the Discover feature and WatchList.
Be able to see what is New, Arriving and Leaving the subscribed services you have selected.
Be able to view your watch list by subscribed service.
Again, I can see where this would be very usful to a segment of the Plex community as it does pull a current need filled by external solutions into the Plex app.
On the Discover page, “New”, “Trending” are already implemented. Arriving is titled as “Coming Soon” but can’t seem to find anything related to “Leaving” though.
Yes, good point about the New=Trending and Coming Soon. Don’t know how I overlooked those. I have found that being able to filter these large lists by subscribed service helps when just browsing for something to watch.
