Plex does not display movies sorted by all

I’m having a weird issue where Plex will not display all my movies. It displays reccomended, collections & playlists but does not display the full library. I can sort by unplayed, year, decade, genre and the like but not all. I’ve tested this on multiple clients, including Android & the windows web client. There are no errors that I am seeing other than a “Held Transaction for too long” warning.

I’ll post my logs if needed.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve seen this error before. You basically have a media item with a corrupted date. It appears to be within the first 50 files you have. I can’t narrow it down any further.

First thing you can try is to clear out your agent cache, https://support.plex.tv/articles/202967376-clearing-plugin-channel-agent-http-caches/, then refresh your entire library.

If that doesn’t work, you can repair your database, https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/. That should remove the bad entry from the database. The movie will get added back on the next file scan and hopefully without the bad data.

If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to manually edit the database to remove the bad entry. This can be complicated, so if you don’t feel comfortable dealing with a database, PM me the file and I can take a look.
