PLEX doesn't start after an upgrade

Server Version#: v1.18.1.1973
Player Version#: webapp latest

Hi manually upgraded PLEX on my synology NAS. It says run fine but can’t launch the UI to see my movies.

I’m sorry, I should have elaborated:

Open FileStation
Navigate into the Plex share ( Give yourself permission in Control Panel - Shared folders if needed)
Drill down last Library until you see the Logs directory
Right-click -> Compress to Logs.zip
Attach that ZIP file here. (The forum will let you drag, drop, and attach it directly)

Thank you for that. The reason I ask for the entire Log set is because, often, what I need is in the “.1” or “.2” rollover file.

In your case:

It appears you’ve renamed the Plex share to be PLEX at some point.
The installation is somehow damaged in that no plug-ins exist, specifically, they were removed after installation. The SPK, as distributed, will not iinstall if damaged.

Please download a fresh copy of the SPK,
Remove the package which is installed (your metadata is kept safe)
Restart DSM
Reinstall the new SPK

My Plex folder is nammed PLEX forever^^

Certain DiskStation models don’t clear the port utilization fast enough. This is why I tell everyone to restart DSM.

it installed and DSM tells me it runs (as before)
but http://192.168.1.36:32400/web spins forever and I don’t see Plex

in other words, for now, no change compared to my DSM manual unistall of Plex, DSM reboot, manual Plex reinstall

According to DSM, plex keeps on reading from and writing to my disks
