agreed* My service provider’s route is the problem and will only work with unpnp with 3 Plex servers on the same network. It does work well 99%. Router is usually the problem in my case, not Plex.
I’ve got three PMS installations on my local network; a primary for everyday use and two testbeds for trying different versions/settings. Each client on my network sees all three and no special configuration was required to achieve this.
It was mentioned earlier in the thread, but have you double-checked to ensure that the servers have unique machine identifiers? Have a look in this file on both systems:
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Preferences.xml
Check the value of “MachineIdentifier” for both and ensure they are different. There should be three entries containing “MachineIdentifier.” If any of them are the same, just rename Preferences.xml to some thing else (Preferences.xml.bak?) and restart your server.
Even if those values are not the same, when you next attempt to log in, use the private browsing mode whatever browser you’re using provides (Chrome = InCognito, Firefox = Private Window, Safari = Private Window, Edge = InPrivate). If you do this correctly, the Plex login should be bypassed and you should be taken directly a screen asking you to customize your server.
This all assumes your problems are present only local network. You can sort out remote access once local clients can consistently see both servers.
