Sorry buddy but 99% of the time it’s user error. Thousands and thousands of Plex users don’t have the issues you’re having so you have to ask yourself if you really think you’re part of that 1% who’s just nailing life perfectly all day every day and it really is just some bug that we haven’t seen before, or maybe you’re just part of the 99.
The other huge advantage of getting your file/folder structure naming cleaned up is that most of the other media servers (Emby, Jellyfin, Channels DVR, etc.) follow the same naming scheme recommendations as Plex and it’s way easier to move from one to the other at any time.
I’ve got mine working with Plex, JF and Channels - can watch with any of the apps.
