Plex DVR Remove Commercials on FreeNAS

Hello, I have Plex installed on FreeNAS and a SiliconDust HD Connect for my tuner. I wanted to find out if the “Remove Commercials” feature in Plex is now supported and works on FreeNAS. I have tried it and it didn’t work. I read that at one point it did not support FreeNAS. Any confirmation on this?
