Plex should provide extra information regarding the signal, quality, symbol strength meters in the channel scanner and while recording. I realize this is not the standard operation of a tuner while scanning, but Plex could test each channel and provide the results in the channel list.
I thought about this from another perspective.
When the antenna signal drops out momentarily, can PMS insert black frames to maintain recording session integrity? I wonder if signal dropouts were causing some trans-coding issues/failures for my PMS during post-processing.
