got an email saying dvr service will only work with icetv after june in australia. i paid to be a lifetime plex user mostly to record live tv. just started to upgrade my pc to get it working ok. i do not want to pay a monthy fee to get this, does anyone know of a free epg service in australia that i could use to keep plex using live dvr?

u might need to play with the mapping of channels but its better then nothing also better then paying for it

Plex for me is almost obsolete in usage, it is no good with music on android auto and Google home hub for me. I am am Australian who has lost the use of dvr. So plex is video media only. Not really worth the lifetime plex pass! So new users should take note and maybe test for one month before going into lifetime plex pass. For the Australian plex pass users wanting to use dvr, i have had better results using nextpvr program. It has worked better than plex ever did. So i am sad to say plex is not as good as what they advertise, not worth the plex pass, stick with the free version as i don’t now get hardly any use from it. GO DEES 2020
