So the dropping of the Gracenote EPG (Included in Plex Pass) and need for an XMLTV EPG service (IceTV @ $3.95/mnth or Freepg/Shepherd, no cost but simply terrible) to be able to use LiveTV / DVR in Australia IceTV issue has angered many users in Australia.

There is no cost EPG data transmitted over the air by the TV stations, sure it’s not perfect, but it’s significantly better than any other no cost solution

I’d like to request Plex give the option of using an XMLTV service and/or the Free OTA data transmitted with the TV signal.

This would be some coding work to be done by Plex initially, it shouldn’t be too difficult, the data is all there it would just be a routine to format it how Plex needs it. Once setup I can see no ongoing cost to Plex and predict almost all of the anger towards Plex over EPG data in Australia would dissipate.

We are all in the same boat, I think all the unsupported regions would benefit from this feature.
Would you consider removing Australia to include support for every region around the globe?

I’m pretty sure a lot of people would support the effort…
It’s basically the same technology everywhere, so it wouldn’t be specific to Australia.

the aim was the same, just didn’t explicitly mention OTA… )

Would you please make a very basic feature available:
Let plex download the EPG from the DVB provider as the TV does…

…or implement support for hungarian EPG please!!
Getting tired of having to play around with custom xmltv programmes almost every single week.
