Plex EPG timeline has wrong time

Hi All,

I have a LG smart tv that is about a year old. I am running the plex app for that. About a few days ago my dad was watching tv and noticed that on the EPG the time for the shows is off by 5 hours. I checked the time on the tv multiple times and verified that the time on the LG was set correctly and the timezone was also set correctly. The issue happens without being signed in as well, so I know it’s not my local server that is causing the issue. The time on the upper right seems to be fine, but the EPG time for the shows is wrong.. the shows themselves are in the correct slot. I’ve taken a picture to show it.

Things I’ve done to fix the issue:

Deleted the plex app
Reinstalled the plex app
Launched the newly installed app without being signed in and it still shows it.
Tried another app on LG that uses a EPG type of timeline and it is fine.
I’ve even reset the entire tv back to factory defaults and set everything back up again, still the same issue.
I can set the time on the TV back 5 hours and then the timeline is fine, but the time on the upper right is wrong by 5 hours…

Any help is appreciated.

I too have this same exact problem but with a Samsung tv. The live TV guide has the shows displayed correctly in the channels and slots but the time at eh top is ahead by 5 hours. I verified the server time and TV set time are correct. The time shows correctly when I access the guide from windows chrome on the server and from my desktop. It also shows correctly from my Android phones.

I have found no other reference to this issue anywhere.
