Hello.
I have an automated media server using both Plex and Sonarr. This week I am having a problem with them using different episode numbering for the latest season of gold rush. Namely Sonar was labeled the episode Gold Gurus as a special however plex has labeled it episode 17. THis is meaning that that episode and following ones are not matching properly between them.
I am hoping to get some help fixing it. As sonarr doesn’t seem to allow any changes to its no. scheme or data sources I am posting here. From my understanding Sonarr pulls from TVDB and I have set Plex to do the same so I don’t know where the mismatch coming from. Any help would be appreciated.
It’s a toss-up here. Plex, thetvdb, Sonarr, the downloaded file… So, if you are sure the episode you got is Gold Gurus and aired Friday, February 8, 2019 then name it s09e99. Though, I can’t see that episode staying there, especially if it is a special episode and with the number 99 and not placed in the right spot… Someone will either move the episode to the Specials page or remove the “(Special)” from the title and inject it in-between the last few of season 09.
