PLEX fails to work on Synology NAS after PLEX update

Lately, whenever applying a PLEX update, PMS loses connection with my Synology NAS. Permissions are not changed and seem to be intact. A reboot of the NAS seems to restore the connection but that has not worked with the latest PLEX update.

Suggestions?

Is PMS running on your computer or on a the Synology itself?

If on the Synology, can you grab the logs ZIP file and attach it so I can look for what’s happening?

The best ZIP file to have would be right after you’ve needed to restart it.

Seems after some time passed, it connected and appears to be back to normal. Not sure why. PMS is running on the NAS.

During the upgrade there are a number of database related changes that have to be made. Its not unusual for this to take 30+ minutes on very large databases.
