First - we currently have no ongoing work around the FireTV functions for Voice Skills and VoiceView. Basically the underlying way the app is built has prevented these features from being usable and the effort needed to rework things would be large enough that it has pushed this down far enough in prioritization discussions that the honest answer here is that it isn’t going to happen anytime soon.
We do have an accessibility statement but this is an area that we can improve upon. One of the best ways for items like this to keep moving forward is to have employee support here at Plex and it is great to mention that we have advocates and owners for this topic and functionality. From someone that is both deaf in one ear making conversations in noisy places problematic and someone who is also colorblind, I consider myself one of those advocates. We have some further investigation planned in this area and the intent is to get the ball rolling on improvements here!
