My family and I use Plex everyday and love it. We use it for server based movies/TV shows and watching/recording live TV.
We use Plex exclusively on the LG and Samsung smart TV platforms (4 TVs in the household). There is a long running complaint in the forums about the increasingly poor performance of the Plex apps on these TV platforms. I wouldn’t say the apps are unusable but navigation through the UI is slow and laggy and has got worse with each new release on these two platforms. We have had hints from Plex employees that these issues are being looked at but it has been almost two years now since these issues were reported and nothing has improved. Is it Plex’s intention to address these issues on the LG and Samsung platforms? We would all appreciate a meaningful update. Thank you.
