Hello,
I have configured Plex for about 10 libraries. I deleted the biggest one containing together approximately 7TB - 14500 video files of content type “home videos and photos”. This library was configured for chapter images and peek thumbnails, so I suppose it contains tons of metadata in size on the disk. After library deletion from the plex server I see the root folder for plex decreased only by about 4GB (2% from the whole size) - even after like 3 weeks of library deletion… why is that? there is not process to get rid of the residual metadata files completely? I am pretty sure it has to be like 100GBs of metadata files for this folder… I hit clean bundles like 10 times during those 3 weeks… it never decreased more in size… seems like it does nothing… neither optimize database.
thanks!
