Plex for iOS forgets resolution settings

Honestly I don’t know if this is a bug or a feature but I want to post it anyway. :wink:
Plex for iOS does not keep the settings for the resolution. It’s pretty easy to reproduce (I’ve used a Phone 13 mini on iOS 18.7.1 (22H31).

  • Go to ‘user icon’>settings>video and audio>mobile network quality and select another resolution

  • Logout and back in again

  • Your settings are toast and you have to set it up again.

My item is called Cellular Quality. I’ll guess you mean that setting.
I changed mine from 720p 2 Mbps to 1080p 8 Mpbs.

How do you logout? Do you mean Switch Profile?
Do you mean quit the app by swiping it upward then starting it again?

Exactly. I use german as main language so I didn’t knew how it is translated. :wink:

No, I don’t.
Click and then Settings>User account> log out. (Optional: kill the app by swiping up and open it again) and re-login.
And… your settings are gone. :pensive_face:
