I am currently running Plex for Kodi version 0.2.3 on Kodi 18.9.
My issue/question is this: When I browse my Movie category, only the first 500 items in the library are displayed. Presently I have around 520 movies in this library, if I browse to the bottom ~20 are missing.
However, if I use the search feature and browse for a “missing” movies title, Plex for Kodi “sees” it and I can then select it to start playback.
Is there a setting or a way to tweak how many items are allowed to be displayed with the Movie category view?
Thanks in advance!
There is a 0.3.3 version of Plex for Kodi. Might fix your issue. Also you are there any collection (Scream, Star Wars and so on) where all the movies related would be stored under? that would explain the “missing” movies.
No collections are hiding movies. However, I am unable to find/obtain this 0.3.3 version. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
I just used the main repository that came with the installation of Kodi 19. It may not be compatible with Kodi 18 though. I know I had to delete and and rebuild my whole Kodi libraries but if you don’t have one of those then it is a simple process as Plex isn’t affected. Just install the Plex for Kodi that comes with Kodi 19 repository and relink to your plex account.
Anyway, if it isn’t the hidden movies by collection then your problem is something else as i never had that issue whatever the version of Kodi I was using. so installing a new version of Kodi and Plex for Kodi might not fit it at all…
