Plex for Mac frozen on DisplayLink external monitors

Hey All!

I am using a Macbook Pro with 2 external monitors attached via DisplayLink.
Whenever I drag Plex for Mac over to either of the external monitors, the app visually freezes. I can still hear audio, the app still works, but the image freezes until i bring it back to the Macbook monitor.

This doesnt happen to any other app on my laptop, and Plex did initially work fine on the external monitors. One day it just… stopped working. To my knowledge none of my apps updated at the time it stopped working.

Plex works fine when a HMDI monitor is plugged in, so i assume this is specific to DisplayLink.
Has anyone else experienced this?
