Plex for Sonos

I’ve removed the service from my Sonos controller and re-added it but I don’t know if this is an updated version or not. Or did I misunderstand the post above?

It is a cloud service like Alexa. There is nothing for you to update.

Hm a cloud service? So neither the Sonos app on my Android tablet nor the Sonos Controller on my Windows is affected in any way?

OK, so this means that you already updated the Plex “app”/service for us users and when using the Sonos app on my tablet I’m already using the new version, right?

Think of what you see to browse Plex in the Sonos app as a website. That Plex service is updated without you needing to do anything, just like a website can be updated without you doing anything. The Sonos app being like the browser in this comparison
