Following up from this thread Plex for Windows - 4K and Live TV Stuttering.
Whenever I use Plex Desktop app it maxes out the GPU and CPU and the playback (along with
the entire computer) starts to stutter. Using Plex Media Player works just fine.
Both on the same device.
First is PMP, second is Plex Desktop (third is paused). Note how PMP mostly uses video decode.

If you can provide the Windows app logs and the server logs so I can add to bug report it would be appreciated.

Iād really appreciate an update on this. The app is essentially non-functional on windows and Iām forced to use the deprecated app.

Any further diagnosis in this is going to require logs from a recent version as there have been massive changes in the appās playback since the last set you posted. Also would help to know exactly which processor (and thus which GPU) you have.
Nice move offering us to send you our logs privately and then just going ahead and making them public anyway.

This is where weāre at in a private thread about issue. Not sure why weāre assuming that itās my system thatās the issue and not sure why weāre giving up without anything more than a glance at the logs.
EDIT: I should clarify that there was more than just a glance at the logs, there was a decent amount of discussion back and forth about the issue. I was hoping for deeper dive into debugging this issue, and Iāve misrepresented not getting that as ājust a glance at the logsā.
