I’m seeing plex using up massive amount of RAM if kept open across multiple computers. It was 12GB today before I closed it and I’ve seen it up to 100GB. I’m on the latest version (1.89.1.107-20abacd1). I’ve seen this issue occuring for years and it doesn’t seem to get fixed.
not sure what this means. That you can reproduce on multiple computer?
any chance of getting desktop player logs
By multiple computers means I’ve seen the issue on multiple computers, across full windows reinstalls.

Thank you for reporting on this. Can you please check out 1.90.1 and report back. We’ve recently fixed some potential memory leaks on our Web and Desktop apps (not listed in release notes). Also, are there any specific steps you think contributes to this memory leak? Or just normal usage (watching stuff) or is this happening while idle?
It didn’t seem to matter what combination of idle/active use, just time open. Inevitably if left open the RAM usage would just continue to climb.
I’ve updated on both of my windows machines and I’ll test them over the next day or two.
