Following the recent newsletter informing me that plex for xbox 360 is now free i’ve been trying to activate plex on my xbox 360 but its still saying a plex pass is required. I have requested a new PIN and entered as well as removing device from Plex Server and re-adding.
The only note I can find is that you may have to request a new PIN and register but that hasn’t worked. Any ideas??? Plex server is updated to 0.9.12.11

I had the same problem first time.
Desinstall plex from your xbox and reinstall it. It should work, worked for me.

Still find it absolutely stupid that we can’t purchase it for the XB1…No one really cares about Kinect functionality…Just release the thing so I can stop using my phone as the DLNA device…

I cannot believe they have not released this for the XB1 yet or for use on the PS3 without Plex Pass. Do they not realise that if I find it is really good on the PS3 I would probably get a Plex Pass for all the better features??
I am not getting a plex pass to try it on the PS3 because sometimes the PS3 software can be poor in comparison to other media boxes. If Kodi/XBMC were available for PS3 I am sure the free version would have been out months if not years ago.
