I have restarted the server quite a few times as well as restarting the XBOX.
The only thing I can think of (not that I feel it is too plausible) is that I installed the XBOX 360 app and verified the PIN prior to updating my PMS version.
Could the XBOX be caching the server version in some non-volatile area?
Is there any way that I can make a similar call to what the xbox is calling to retrieve the server version?
Running into the same problem. Just like GrahamT, I updated the PMS after I downloaded the app, have no gold account, and am running on Ubuntu 14.04 with the current PMS version
We are looking into this issue. Meanwhile can you try to kill Plex server and start it again?
Thanks,

How come you're responding to some on here with issues, but not others? (ie: the issue I've described in the transcoding thread?) Do I need to raise it in a different manner to get a response?
Looks like when I signed out of my account on the xbox 360, and then signed back in using my password instead of the PIN, it fixed all the issues... Hope this helps. If you go into the Server & Settings section, then select the General button, it will bring up your account. Just sign out/signin there, and it should fix the problem.

Sorry @Paulheyworth, I'm looking at every post and these issues are being addressed. We hope to have these issues resolved soon.
I even purged to cache on my xbox after uninstalling the app, rebooted, installed the app again but after opening it up it has still cached the credentials (I didn't have to enter my credentials again) - still cant use the app.
