Other version of this is for movies where you want more than one version. I couldn’t get Plex to identify Midsommar: Directors Cut as a separate title despite having it in a separate folder.
I ended up just having Plex fill it in as Midsommar so both versions showed as on movie duplicated, then split them manually and customized the fields I needed to for the Directors cut and giving it new customer poster art.
So far it displays right and since I locked the changed title fields Plex hasn’t shown it as a duplicate since I fixed it up. If there’s a better way for these instances, where you may have different versions of the same movie, I’d love to hear it .

Don’t think there is no other way till Plex decides it time to fix it…
It’s a feature request that goes back years…
Movie edition is needed…
