since one week i have an issue with my Media Center and HTPC
i have black bars at the left and right side of my screen in plex this is in the menu and while playback.
(this is only in plex htpc not on windows itself or netflix app and so on).
i already tried resetting the app and reinstalling htpc

Verify the resolution that is set in the Windows Display control panel. From what you’re describing, I’d say it is currently not a resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

like i mentioned it’s only in Plex HTPC and i can hover into the black bars with my mouse.
That doesn’t matter.
You should switch to 3,840x2160 in Windows. That’s the native resolution of all modern 4K displays. 4096x2160 is just supported for some legacy reason and will actually introduce scaling and negatively effect your image quality.
Ok so i went into this because i had problems with that ages ago and yes it was a ■■■■■■ with my amd apu gpu drivers.
It changed the colour range to limited rgb and with 3,840x2160 with that i had “real” black bars left and right on the whole pc.
Changing it back to full rgb made them disappear under 3,840x2160.
