Version 1.1.0 has been released for our Plex HTPC for Windows and Plex HTPC for Mac previews.

Plex HTPC for Windows users must uninstall Plex HTPC 1.0.0 then install Plex HTPC 1.1.0 directly. Plex HTPC for Mac users on 1.0.0 will automatically update to 1.1.0.

  • Bump to web-tv-client/5.12.0-11cd986a3-16587.
  • General: Video player underlay gradient improvements.
  • General: Add input feedback sounds.
  • General: Add new “Auto” resolution setting that sets the highest resolution supported by the screen displaying HTPC when opened.
  • General: Long press of Enter or Return shows context menu overlay for focused item.

Fixed

  • General: Saving settings to disk no longer interrupts the user interface or playback.
  • General: Decrease open time for media player’s on screen display after seek operations.
  • General: Fixed edge case preventing navigation to related hubs displayed on the collection screen.
  • Windows: Application no longer remains open as background process when exited.
  • Windows: Automatic update installation no longer shows confirmation dialog which would require mouse or keyboard to dismiss. Updates will no longer be installed automatically once a future application version allows control of update settings.
