Plex organizes all of your personal media so you can easily access and enjoy it.

You can get the latest version from the download page. Do a system check to make sure you meet the updated requirements, systemd, Glibc 2.17, and OS level.

Correction:

Glibc 2.14.1

2.17 or higher would be ideal.

Ditto.
apt-get update shows " Conflicting distribution: https://downloads.plex.tv/repo/deb public InRelease (expected public but got )"

apt search plexmediaserver shows the same message as OP.

Edit, I just installed manually by downloading the file locally. I’m good, but a fix to the repo (or a status update) would be great!

The update isn’t in the public/auto update side.
We’re trying to get the repos ready to switch over.
They are out of sync right now for that reason.

same here
https://downloads.plex.tv/repo/rpm/$basearch/
last is 1.14.1.5488, there is no new package.

I will not repeat myself again. This has been stated throughout the forum many times.

  1. Current repositories point to the old build system
  2. PMS 1.15.x and above are the new
  3. They are therefore out of sync
  4. Ignore what the app tells you
  5. Download manually from plex.tv.downloads
