I recently noticed that my iOS Plex Player had not uploaded any photos for a long time. After some fiddling, I noticed that it was stalling at plenty of images and videos with a “Waiting for upload to continue…” message.
After some more fiddling, I discovered that Plex was not uploading any picture that was taken on iPhone, but only those that had been synced through the Apple Photos app, for instance.
I verified this by removing all problematic photos and making sure that the upload had been completed successfully. I then took one individual photo on the iPhone and again: Plex stalled indefinitely at the photo with the aforementioned message.
Does anyone have an idea if this is a confirmed bug?
The server runs on Synology and I am using an iPhone 8.
