Plex iOS Player Restarting on WiFi Deadspots

Hi,

I haven’t seen any recent posts about this issue, which appears to be specific to the new Plex iOS UI. When playing media, if I move through areas with weak WiFi coverage, the player freezes and restarts playback—either from the beginning or the last saved state.

It seems that the saved state is only updated when I manually exit playback to the menu, making the experience frustrating. As a result, I’ve had to switch to using Plex via Safari instead.

Server Version: 1.41.5.9522
Player Version: 2025.10.2

Also I was able to reproduce this behaviour with the Debug Logs set to verbose but I noticed after I got here that it’s not necessary, therefore can provide the logs in PM if necessary for it, due to it having many sensitive information as well.

Would appreciate any insights or fixes for this issue.

Seem to be still present with the newest version.
