I have retag all my music library with musicbrainz, and i found a weird thing.
Despite logitech media server and other tools testes, Plex is not using the ORIGINALYEAR tag for the year info in Plex, but the YEAR tag .
In the following example, for a David Bowie release, plex show that the album was released in 1990 instead of 1973 
Could it be possible to have an option to choose between original dat and the actual date ?

II support that. I usually use the YEAR field only by placing the year, and then I proceed to manually increase the whole date on the Plex label, although for the singles I use the yyy-mm-dd format.
In fact I know that Picard does fill them in correctly but Plex has its own way of understanding this. In any case you will have to do it manually.
Plex fix this please.
