I have been trying to resolve this for over a week, but need some help. My ds718+ was crashing on a daily basis. I opened a ticket with Synology, who told me that Plex was causing the crashes and to try installing the public version as appose to the Plex Pass release. I successfully uninstalled Plex, the reinstalled v1.15.4.993. After this, NAS has gone from crashing daily to just randomly becoming hung (cannot login to it or access Plex). The only change I have made recently is added a WD external hard drive with a lot (about 5 TB) of files. Bellow are my specs:
There appear to be database corruptions and scanner crashes due to the corruptions
So you will need to go through repair / restore anyway
