You’ll have to provide additional information to determine why a file is transcoding.
- Set your system for debug logs only, verbose logs disabled. See “Reporting issues…” doc below.
- Pick one problematic movie to use as a test.
- Pull the Plex XML information for that movie and attach to the thread as a text file (not screen shots).
- Re-create the problem, preferably with no other activity on the server. Let the movie play for 20 - 30 seconds.
- Stop playback, wait 1 minute for server to log everything.
- Pull logs files. Attach entire ZIP file to the thread.
